The funny face

It's amazing what you forget in 5 years. Kate is almost 5 years younger than her brother and just when I think oh yeah, I remember this ... something new comes along! So, we're teething and the first 4 teeth came in almost without a hitch (we just had to collect the drool in buckets!) Well, 2 more teeth are on their way and with them have come a new attitude. Kate scrunches up her face to reveal her pearly whites along with the new ones on the way every other minute. While Mimi thinks it's "just pitiful", I can't help but laugh ... and laugh ... and laugh. Oh what a treasure these fleeting days are!

Posting Pictures

Day 2 of my blogging experience ... I'm ready to attempt posting pictures! Wonder how long it will take me? Woo-hoo, only about 5 minutes! Here's a (yes, only 1, I know!) family pic from our recent trip to Charleston, SC. John and I both went to college in Charleston and it was so much fun to be back in that beautiful city. We had a wonderful time visiting with my brother and his wife and seeing all that Charleston has to offer. Of course, the highlight was John's 10 year reunion at The Citadel - maybe I should try to post a few more pics! Until next time ...

Well, it's official! I officially have no idea what I'm doing here, but I'm giving it a shot. I'm thinking at least my brother will be proud of me ... I started texting and blogging in the same month ... I might NOT be as old as he thought I was!
So, my main goal in this endeavor is to keep our family and friends up to speed with our day to day life and to give myself some space to reflect so that these precious days don't speed by too quickly.
